If you have little kids into My Little Ponies, chances are you had an original My Little Pony or watched the television show back in the 80s. Does this video ring a bell?

I remember playing with my collection of My Little Ponies and combing their brightly colored manes and tails. They came with accessories such as sun hats, saddles and trophies, they smelled delicious almost like a fruity baby powder, and had the friendliest features.

My mom still has my collection of ponies, and my 5 year old daughter loves to play with them almost as much as I did. Whenever we visit Grandma, she brings down the shoe box full of My Little Ponies and the accessories so they can be brushed, saddled, and awarded trophies once more.

My daughter has some of the newer My Little Pony dolls, but they aren’t the same. The sweet, innocent features have been replaced with this.

Thankfully, the some of the original My Little Pony dolls are back to celebrate the 35th anniversary and are being sold as collector’s items at Walmart.

The ponies have already hit shelves, and you can pick up the collector set, or buy Blossom, Cotton Candy, Glory, Twilight and Peachy who comes complete with her own pretty parlor.

Fingers crossed the original designs are back to stay!
